Physical Conditioning

Physical conditioning (PC) is scheduled at least 6 times during each week of training. It consists of running (amount depends on the week), strength training (for example: sit-ups, push-ups, deltoid lift, biceps curls, triceps extensions, and more), and stretching exercises. Requirements consist of a timed two-mile run, sit-ups, and push-ups.

MALES must meet the following PC assessment requirements to graduate BMT:
1 1/2 Mile Run: < 00:11:57 minutes
Sit-Ups: 50 (in 2 minutes)
Push-Ups: 45 (in 2 minutes)
FEMALES must meet the following PC assessment requirements to graduate BMT:
1 1/2 Mile Run: < 00:14:21 minutes
Sit-Ups: 46 (in 2 minutes)
Push-Ups: 27 (in 2 minutes)
